Stem growth change sensor ZN12-T-2IP
Stem growth change sensor ZN12-T-2IPbrief introduction
The fluctuation of the daily growth radius of the stem is mainly influenced by the living tissue cells of the bark, and the thickness of the bark depends on the hydration state of the bark. During the day, the bark undergoes water transpiration due to the sunlight, and at night it replenishes water. Due to this cycle, the diameter of the tree is smaller during the day and larger at night. After the alternation of day and night, the growth of the tree occurs, especially during the wet period of tree growth. In special circumstances, the slow growth of the tree is mainly due to the death of the phloem cells or necrosis of the tree. In winter, the growth of the tree will rapidly decrease.
The ZN12-T-2IP dual probe stem growth change sensor can be installed on tree trunks with a diameter greater than 7cm. These two sensors are installed in parallel to measure the growth changes of trees. The frame is composed of carbon fiber (CFK) and stainless steel
